FAQ

Clear answers, written like a person actually means them.

This page is here to help you get oriented quickly, without legal fog or product theatre.

Getting started

How long does setup take?

The goal is a short, quiet start. Most therapists should be able to create an account, handle the basic security steps, and get oriented in a few minutes.

Can I try it without moving everything at once?

Yes. Serenote is meant to be adopted gradually. You can start with part of your workflow and see whether the product earns a larger place in your practice.

Do I need a card to begin?

No. Early access should not begin with billing pressure.

Security and privacy

What does zero-knowledge mean here?

In plain terms, it means the product is designed so your private notes are not sitting around in readable form for us to inspect.

How is sensitive data protected?

Through encrypted workflows, careful access boundaries, and security work that continues after launch instead of stopping there.

Do you track or sell therapist data?

No. Serenote is not built around advertising or surveillance-style data use.

Billing

How does pricing work during early access?

We keep early access simple. If paid plans arrive later, they should be announced clearly and structured in a way that stays understandable.

Will pricing changes be announced in advance?

Yes. Billing should be communicated clearly and with time to react.

Using Serenote

Is it only for solo therapists?

It is especially shaped for solo practice and small clinics, though the design principles can support other sensitive workflows too.
